Acharya Peeth

There are two Jagad gurus Shri Ramanandacharya peeth in Gujarat
(1) Jagad guru Shri Ramanandacharya Peeth Shri Kaushalendra math, Paladi Ahmedabad –7,
(2) Jagad guru Shri Ramanandacharya Peeth, Shri Shesha math Vishramdwarka – Porbandar. According to our shashtras math means house of the students. From all corners of India (i.e. Gujarat, Orrisa, Bihar, U.P, Rajasthan) as well from Nepal Nepali students use to achieve their supreme knowledge of vedant, vyakarana and sahitya etc. in these residential schools (math).

The founders of this math are Mahamahopadhyaya Jagad guru Shri Ramandacharya Shri Raghuvaracharya-Vedant keshari ji and his great disciple Jagad guru Shri Ramanadacharya Shri Ramaprapannaacharya Yogindra ji. At present the throne of Jagad guru Ramandacharya is ornamented by his holiness Jagad Guru Shri Rameshwarnandacharya Ji. H.H jagadguru Shri Rameshwaranadacharya ji‘s thoughts have been divided and available in 230 books in which the heart of Shri Ramanandasampradaya is opened for every one. Your indescribable Sanskrit love and the power of expression are unique, due to the very reason the message of mankind reached to every walk of life. It shows the vast majority of your disciple and greediness to come to you for higher learning.

on 2-Feb-2006.

The function of these Acharya Peeth are as follows.

THE DIVINE GOAL

The motto of these institutions will be carried out for the spiritual awareness of the nation by truth and deep knowledge.

NAME

These institutions will be known by the name of Shri Raghuvar Ramananda vedant mahavidyalaya and Shri Raghuvar Sanskrit mahavidyalaya.
The head of these institutions will be taken place in Jagad guru ramandaacharya Peeth, shri koshalendra math, Ahmedabad –7 and Jagad guru ramanada Acharya Peeth – shri shesh math vishramdwarka jointly.
In these institutions 3 more sub institutions will be functioned namely –
      Shri Lasiandra hostel
      Shri Bodhayana library
      Shri Ramananda library

RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR THE ASHRAM INHABITANTS

It is compulsory for all the ashram inhabitants including the students, lacquerers and guests to attend the swadhaya discourse in the ashram at 8.30 am a daily.
Vedas, Darshan, vedant, meemansa, nayaya, vaisheshik, sankhya, vyakarana and sahitya etc. epics are being taught here tip to top by their specialized experience authorities.
Both institutions are separately affiliated to Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan –New Delhi and Sampoornananda Sanskrit University – Varanasi, in which students appear in the different examinations as prathama, madhyama, shastri and Acharya where degrees are valid by provisional governments and the central governments of India as well as aboard.
Working hours of the school is 9.00 am to 7 pm ( 11.00 am - 12.30 pm lunch break).
Accept the University exams students will also have to appear in the annual exams, which will be conducted under the guidance of the Peeth Acharya.

ELIGIBILITY FOR ENTRANCE

There are two compulsory conditions required for the entrance.

The Brahmacharies who desire to enter in these institutions they should have the minimum qualification in the 7th standard certificate and should be 15th years.
The entrance right for the students will be reserved by the chief in charge if the math.

DUTIES FOR THE STUDENTS

Having free from their daily routine the students must participate in all the regular prayers regulated by the Peeth.
Any types of drug are strictly prohibited for all the ashram inhabitants.
The foreheads of each ashram inhabitants should be decorated according to shri Vaishnava ramanandeeya sampradaya.
Only the head of the Acharya Peeth also will head these Sanskrit Institutions.

FACILITIES FOR THE STUDENTS

Fooding and lodging accommodation will be provided free of cost to the students.
Books and useful stationeries will be made available free of cost to the students as well as will bear the coast of examinations fees also only for them who have qualified the last annual exam conducted by the sans than.
Peeth also declares here by that gold and silver medals will be given to the students who have qualified their Acharya degree with Shri Ramanand Vedant from Sampurnananda Sanskrit University and Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan New Delhi.
The students of RAMANAND VEDANT will be specially benefited by the Peeth.
The course books will also be provided to the students by Shri Ramananda library and Shri Bodhayan library accordingly.
